Welcome to the online system for EDAC (Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification). Candidates will use this system to register for the examination and renew the credential. EDAC is The Center for Health Design's internationally recognized program that awards credentials to individuals who demonstrate a thorough understanding of how to apply an evidence-based design process to the built environment in order to achieve the best possible outcomes.

This site is maintained by EDAC's examination vendor, Meazure Learning. Meazure Learning is responsible for application intake and evaluation for EDAC's examination and renewal candidates.

Registering for the exam at a conference

If you are registering for the exam at a conference (like the Healthcare Design Expo & Conference), you must complete the registration AND schedule your exam no later than four (4) day prior to the exam date. Otherwise you will need to complete a paper application (link at left) and bring the completed paper application with you to the examination. An additional “walk-in” fee applies.

Candidates must complete a renewal application every two years by February 1 or July 1 (depending on date of certification). Renewal reminders will be sent via hard copy mail and e-mail four (4) months before your renewal expiration date and one (1) month via email from Meazure Learning.

It is the responsibility of the certified individual to notify Meazure Learning of any changes in contact information. If a candidate does not complete their renewal application, their credential expires. For more information, please read the EDAC Program Continuing Education Policy.
